I work with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, difficulty coping with life transitions, work/college related stress, and bipolar and related disorders to name a few. In addition, I work with individuals who want to work on improving their relationship with their significant other(s).

I utilize a CBT approach and will teach you ways to make small changes in your patterns of thinking that contribute to how you feel. I will also teach you stress management skills, increase your tolerance of negative emotions using a DBT approach, help you stay grounded in the here and now and move toward self-acceptance, and help decrease conflict in your relationships. These skills can help promote a greater sense of well-being and life satisfaction. I also utilize a person-centered, non-judgmental, culturally sensitive, holistic and empathic approach to therapy. As your therapist, I will focus on your strengths, help you achieve greater insight and help you meet the goals that you would like to accomplish. In our sessions, I will tailor specific evidence-based interventions to meet your specific needs, wants and concerns. I believe that the therapeutic process can promote positive changes and growth and I look forward to accompanying you on your journey toward self-discovery and overall wellness.
